If you are on an erection pill for fun and go for it bit too often, you may be in for some serious trouble.

One kind of erection pill has skyrocketed in its sale, more than 300% last year compared to the previous one. As the sales registers tear at their seams, this year the pill is projected to score even higher.

Dr Jolly Kensal, a sexologist, of late has been getting some serious patients who have been on erection pills for long. These are the patients who never needed a pill but had it for fun, weekend after weekend and then every few days. But why did they have it? To prolong erection, was the common refrain. They all did so much in the bed that their partners dropped dead and begged for their life.

And they all boasted of their prowess and got hooked to it before they discovered that their natural course of erection was disturbed. Some reported terrible instances of fatigue in their organ after a prolonged performance and it was difficult to recover back and go for natural erection next time.

It’s not just Dr Jolly’s patients who are overusing or misusing the erection aid pills like Cialis without asking their doc, millions all over the world are doing it, and doing it for fun.

A heavy price is in store for them. Essentially to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), the erection pills are by nature vasodilators which facilitate blood flow into the shaft of penis to cause an erection. While one can buy Cialis to treat his ED disorder, for an otherwise healthy individual this will prolong erection. In other words, a prolonged erection will unnaturally overstress penile muscles. Muscle fatigue and ache could be among the first reactions to this recreational misuse of an erection aid. An overfatigued muscle first of all would not respond so much to a natural stimulation, and such responses would have tendency to die out over a long period.

In a healthy man the natural erection pumped with a stimulant though would boost up his sexual prowess initially, but this will not sustain and will always be short lived after sometime. A permanent condition of erectile dysfunction may be set in if erection pills are used over a long period, which may vary from one healthy man to another.

The cardinal principle and a cliche – excess (misusage) of everything is bad, including that of erection.
